Come Join Our Teams - Join West Seattle High School "Lord of the Bots" or Franklin High School "XBOT"

What is the Robotics Teams about?
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Mentors and West Seattle, Franklin, and Cleveland High School students will design and build a robot according to the FIRST competition specifications. The FIRST robotic competition is held in the Spring of 2004. The robot must be able to maneuver within a specific playing field, avoid opposing robots, and perform specific tasks. During the robot-building phase all teams are only allowed 6 weeks (Jan., Feb. 2004) to build the robot. The specific, task and details are closely guarded by FIRST and revealed to the teams at the competition kickoff.
